The main goal of this program is to train those who work with chippers to become competent to operate a brush chipper safely and without direct supervision. The training is broken into six major sections covering important background information on chippers, getting the machine ready to chip, setting up and positioning the chipper, running the chipper, chipper maintenance and using the chipper’s winch.
This workshop is made possible by Morbark and comes with the Chipper Operator Specialist manual, enrollment and lunch. Attendees can earn 4 ISA/CTSP CEUs for attending and an additional 2 ISA/CTSP CEUs for passing a test following the training.
