Cleaner, Greener, More Efficient
Our customers have come to depend on Morbark® to be at the forefront of change, to recognize new opportunities, and to design – or redesign – the innovative equipment that turns those opportunities into reality.
We know one size does not fit all. There isn’t one solution. That’s why we offer virtually all of our products with either diesel- or electric-powered motors: Morbark® tub and Wood Hog horizontal grinders, whole tree and brush chippers, flails, Chiparvestor® models, debarkers, peelers and more.
Electric-powered equipment from Morbark can help you:
- Reduce emissions
- Reduce noise levels
- Reduce fuel and operational costs (less maintenance and downtime)
Plus, electric equipment does all this while maintaining similar performance and output to diesel-powered equipment!
Your Partner for Better Solutions
Morbark has designed and built electric-powered systems for more than 50 years for customers with diverse needs and applications. We work with our customers to find new ways to use electric power to meet their changing needs. If you are considering electric, our hard hats are off to you. We can help you evaluate the benefits and possible roadblocks.
Testing, Training and Safety
At our factory in Michigan, Morbark has new, world-class testing capabilities to reduce the set-up time at your location. Our massive electrical machine test panel allows us to take each piece of electric-powered equipment we manufacture, test run it at full RPM, and do the necessary pressure checks. This allows us to verify the settings through results – not just inspections; and the full-speed running lets us do a comprehensive test of all systems on the equipment.
Because we’ve already tested the machine at the factory, our customers can essentially flip the switch on location and go. On delivery day, a Morbark dealer or representative is onsite to ensure the equipment is running perfectly. With our electric-powered equipment, one of our electrical experts can be there to help advise your electrical contractor on the final installation.
In addition, Morbark and our dealers won’t let our customers start up and operate a machine until we have trained the workers on the safety, operation, and maintenance of
From testing to onsite support, we take every step out of the gate to set our customers up for success.
