1300B Tub Grinder

The Morbark 1300B Tub Grinder combines heavy-duty construction with the latest technology, including the Morbark Integrated Control System, which allows you to monitor critical machine parameters. With a full breakaway torque limiter system, hydraulic augers and a laser-cut hammer mill, the 1300B tub grinder is the most popular grinder on the market. Replaceable, one-piece anvil and tub floor wear plates make maintenance easy and reduce downtime. The optional 330L Cat undercarriage makes it easy to bring the grinder right to the material.

Morbark Integrated Control Systems (MICS)

Automatically adjusts feed rates and monitors pressures and feed wheel position to maximize production and engine efficiency.

Torque Limiter

The full breakaway torque limiter system protects the engine and clutch against shock and overload without stalling the engine.

Hydraulic Augers

Quickly remove product from beneath the mill and during material surges, pressure sensors automatically slow tub rotation to prevent plugging.

Hammermill

Laser-cut, factory-balanced hammermills with forged hammers offer unsurpassed durability and smooth operation.

Optional Tracks

Bring the grinder to the material with the 330L Cat undercarriage with 700mm double grouser shoes: 11 PSI ground pressure, 1.4-2.4 MPH ground speed, 22.5″ clearance.

Tub

Tub has 10′ (3.04 m) diameter at inside base, 57″ (144.78 cm) deep walls constructed of 3/8″ (9.52 mm) structural steel plate and floor constructed of 1/2″ (12.77 mm) thick T-1 wear-resistant steel, supported by (16) roller guides carried on 1-1/2″ (3.81 cm) diameter shaft. Hydraulic full-tilt tub for easy access to hammermill, with hydraulically powered variable RPM forward and reverse MICS (Morbark Integrated Control System) tub control. Tub cover for debris containment.


Hammermill and Screens

31″ x 64″ (78.74 cm x 162.56 cm) hammermill system constructed of heavy-duty 20″ (50.8 cm) diameter rotor, (13) 1-7/8″ (4.76 cm) thick 2-piece laser-cut rotor plates to ensure precision and enforce steel strength. The plates are keyed on a 7″ (17.78 cm) diameter shaft with 4-7/16″ (11.27 cm) bearings and (8) 2-1/4″ (5.71 cm) hammer retaining rods. 1″ (2.54 cm) thick steel heavy-duty split-screens.
