Like Morbark’s larger grinders, the 1000 Tub Grinder includes the Morbark Integrated Control System (MICS), which allows you to monitor key systems and adjust feed rates. Equipped with a proven drive line protection system with torque limiter, this model also boasts hydraulic augers to quickly remove product and prevent plugging, a pinned rotor system and a variety of heavy-duty grates to produce different end products, and optional hinged tub flares for use during transportation.

24-1/2″ x 46″ hammermill system constructed of a heavy-duty 16″ diameter laser cut rotor, (19) 1-1/8″ thick 2-piece laser-cut rotor plates to ensure precision and enforce steel strength. The plates are keyed on a 4-1/2″ diameter rotor shaft with 3-7/16″ bearings direct driven at engine RPM and (8) 1-1/4″ hammer retaining rods. Complete with (36) 1-1/4″ balanced forged hard-surfaced fixed hammers and (36) 2″ wide replaceable inserts. 3/4″ thick heavy-duty screens. Two 12″ diameter augers discharge onto a 28″ belt conveyor.
