Aimed at modest landscapers and stump grinding contractors, as well as rental stores, the Morbark G 42 SP Stump Grinder is an ideal unit for grinding smaller stumps. Its compact size and mobility allows it to be driven to sites that couldn’t be reached with larger stump grinders. Equipped with horsepower options of either 27 or 38 HP, this stump grinder really packs a punch. With a choice of three cutting system options, you can custom fit your grinder to best fits your needs.
Incorporating rugged design with more drive power and greater cutting efficiency, Morbark Stump Grinders help you grind more, move less, and get to and muscle through even the toughest stump faster. It’s grinding…redefined.
Available in a range of sizes in 4 x 2, 4 x 4 and track configurations that give you the versatility to navigate any type of terrain, Morbark stump grinders have a wide variety of options, so you’ve got the flexibility to customize the perfect grinder for your particular needs.
All models are aggressive, highly productive, and engineered to give you the power and features you need to maximize output and enhance your profitability. In addition, they are compact for easy transportation between job sites and designed to be durable and long-lasting (averaging 1,500 hours, the life expectancy of Morbark Stump Grinders is 60% longer than the 900-hour average of competitive models!).
The D 52 SPH will save you time and money. Two-speed ground travel reaches speeds up to 290 FPM, getting you to the stump faster, and a 52″ boom arc means less positioning at the stump. Long Boom Technology maintains full boom arc swing regardless of cutting depth; piloted flange bearings increase bearing life and minimize exposure to dirt and debris; and an articulating front axle maintains stability on uneven terrain.
The powerful D 86 Track Stump Grinder is equipped with an expandable rubber track undercarriage with 4.4 PSI ground pressure and an 86″ boom arc for less positioning at the stump. The D 86 Track is outfitted with Long Boom Technology, which maintains full boom arc swing regardless of cutting depth; 19-function radio remote control with 50′ tethered back-up system; and a fully enclosed, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder diesel engine.
